Re: Mr Mulally drives to DC [pf_flyer]

In my opinion it cannot hurt, due to the fact that there is not enough exposure for for the FEH.I love mustangs and muscle trucks as much as the next guy,but we need to be smarter and more responsible these days! I am glad that Mr. Mulally chose the Escape Hybrid, even if it takes second place to a citation X!

It can't hurt sales. It is proof the car will run from Detroit to DC. :shades: Will it make it on one tank of gas would be my question???
2009 328/335i
by vish_dc on Wed Dec 03 13:42:48 PST 2008
Hi, My lease on my 2006 325i is set to end in January and I am looking to either lease or buy another 3 series. I have priced out both a 328i and 335i sedan. Here are the details: 328i MSRP - $44345 Invoice - $40820 335i MSRP - $49045 Invoice - $45155 Before starting my negotiations, I would like to get a general idea of what would be considered a great deal. Should I be aiming to pay below invoice? If not, how much above invoice would be considered a great deal. I paid ~$400 over invoice on my last BMW but I am wondering if I can get a better deal this time. I am located in the DC metro area. Thanks.

US August - November sales: Genesis: 1,177 | 1,029 | 1,121 | 1,151 GS: 1,686 | 977 | 819 | 721 M: 1,211 | 1,077 | 1,193 | 1,186 With numbers like that, there's more of a market for the Genesis than a few posters would care to admit.
Re: why are the ceo going to DC in hybrids? [nwng]
by bpizzuti on Wed Dec 03 11:08:27 PST 2008
As I recall, Ford only has one hybrid, the Escape...which is a pretty steenking good hybrid, compared to GM's "mild" stuff. I'll agree that Waggy should be showing up in a Malibu, but make it the Malibu Hybrid, so people can see GM's excuse for a hybrid. :shades:

I'm picturing It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World - "a madcap cross-country rush to find some treasure" in the halls of DC.
